Quantum Partners advises the shareholders of Netmoms GmbH on the sale to Tomorrow Focus

Digital media / social network / info portal

Project highlights

Vertical social networks are an interesting platform for advertisers to position their brands. The visitors of a website can usually be clearly assigned to a specific target group and can be addressed with dedicated content. Parents are a particularly attractive target group in economic terms, who tend to be brand and quality-conscious and less price-sensitive when making purchases.

By combining a social network with high-quality editorial content, Netmoms was able to establish itself as an alternative to traditional publications within a short time. Compared to other target groups, parents have a greater need to exchange information, obtain it or pass it on. Despite a highly competitive environment, Netmoms’ management has been able to achieve profitable growth and a very strong market position.

Expansion abroad had already begun with successful subsidiaries in Poland and Spain, and the founders wanted to drive growth more strongly in cooperation with a larger media company. At that time, the focus was on mobile applications, new marketing channels, cross-media strategies, etc. Together with the management, an internationally oriented sell-side process was set up and Tomorrow Focus was identified as the best partner.
