Achim Lederle has worked as an investor, supervisory board member and consultant for national and international companies for over 20 years. He has focused on the retail, internet, software and electronics sectors and has supported companies from their foundation and growth to their sale or IPO.
As a partner at 3i, the largest European venture capital firm, Mr. Lederle has managed transactions ranging from EUR 0.5 to 270 million. He played a leading role in the strategic sale of 3i's global venture portfolio and subsequently continued to manage and successfully sell these companies as a venture partner at Cipio Partners. He began his career in venture capital as an investment manager at the technology holding company VC.
As a business angel, Achim Lederle is regularly involved in entrepreneurial activities with capital and know-how.
After studying business administration at the University of Augsburg, he joined the management consultancy Deloitte Consulting.

Quantum Partners advises the shareholders of Somentec AG on the sale to Stadtwerke Schwäbisch Hall GmbH
The constant change in gas, water, and electricity supply and ongoing liberalization require increasingly comprehensive IT solutions, particularly in the area of customer billing. The partial decentralization of energy supply leads to complex energy flows. As a result, network operators must equip their electricity and gas networks with new
measurement, information, and communication technologies.
The software products developed by Somentec AG are the result of many years of experience in this field. They enable the creation of unique solutions, e.g. in the areas of automated invoicing, claims management / mass account management, and contract management as well as technical equipment and facility management.
The aim of the joint project was to restructure the shareholder base. Some of the shareholders who had invested since the company was founded wanted to sell their shares, while the management wished to involve a strategic partner. With Stadtwerke Schwäbisch Hall GmbH, Somentec found a partner who can support the expansion of the customer base. The manpower of Stadtwerke Schwäbisch Hall GmbH can also be used to expand customer service.
