Dr. Andreas Brinkrolf

Andreas Brinkrolf has many years of corporate finance experience and has founded several successful companies. As Venture Manager and later as Managing Director of the Siemens Technology Accelerator, he was responsible for the external marketing of Siemens technologies through sales, spin-offs and licensing. His focus was on high-tech projects, e.g. in the fields of sensor technology, new materials and software. As founder and board member of Tiburon Partners AG, he invested in Internet and software companies and accompanied some of the companies through their entire life cycle to exit. He was responsible for the subsequent sale of Tiburon Partners AG to a listed holding company. Mr. Brinkrolf was a co-founder of Invoco Holding GmbH and helped it develop into one of the leading providers of outsourcing services in Germany. In 2013, he was responsible for the sale of the company to Xerox Corporation. In recent years, Mr. Brinkrolf has advised on over 50 transactions - initial investments, capital increases and sales. He studied business administration at the Universities of Bamberg and Aston (UK) and holds a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen (CH).

Quantum Partners advises the shareholders of Avedo GmbH on the sale to Seafort Advisors

The active management of customer relationships represents an enormous value driver for industries with fixed-term contracts. In the mobile phone industry, for example, the so-called life-time value of a customer can be calculated fairly accurately and the customer base can be segmented accordingly. As a result, economically attractive customers can be offered tailored packages to increase customer loyalty. Or suitable sales campaigns can be defined for customer relationships with potential for expansion in order to increase customer value.
Avedo is the leading provider of outsourced telephone marketing services in Germany. In campaigns, the client’s customers are contacted by specially trained sales staff and customer service calls are monetized through tailored sales activities. Avedo is unique in that – under strict compliance with the legal framework – it is able to carry out efficient and transparent campaigns in which success and costs are precisely measurable. The focus is on working with existing customers and on cross-selling and upselling activities.
One of Avedo’s major shareholders was a private equity fund that wanted to sell its stake after a very successful growth phase. The management in turn had the goal of pushing ahead with its expansion with a strategic partner or a new financial investor. In an internationally oriented process, strategists and PE funds were approached. In cooperation with the consultancy Mummert, the transaction was then concluded with Seafort Advisors.
