Launched in 2012, we are now an established player in the small/mid-cap segment with growing brand awareness, professional structures, and sustainable growth. We want to develop Quantum Partners into a leading M&A consultancy in our segment and build up more clout in the execution of transactions. To shape this growth and also ensure long-term succession, we are looking for another
M&A Director
as a future partner

Your role
- Overall responsibility for managing and implementing M&A transactions in preparation for the partner role
- Leading project teams as well as coaching and developing associates and analysts
- Direct communication and negotiation with entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers
- Collaboration in the further development of Quantum Partners (structures, processes, positioning)
- Active business development (origination, network expansion, participation in events)
Your experience
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, ideally in an M&A boutique or smaller investment bank
- Successfully completed transactions, particularly on the sell side, ideally in the technology sector
- Successfully completed degree (master’s degree), preferably with a focus on economics or technology
- Leadership experience and strong social skills in dealing with teams and clients
- Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic skills, and a high degree of initiative
- Cultural fit without a dog-eat-dog mentality, but with a desire for ambitious, fair, and humorous cooperation
- Native-level German and business fluent written and spoken English
